Angelique was torn between herself and the person which came easier. She wished she could truly inspire students to love dance as she did - to see it as the last remaining artistic expression that was accepted by the society. Of course, it offended that the only reason it was accepted is because people thought there was no intellectual value behind dance. That so long as it wasn't sexual it was proper and a pleasant pastime. It bothered her the people didn't understand that by the mere origins of the art form, in it's most basic form, dance celebrated the expression of the individual. Dance was edgy. Dance made a statement. Dance was smart. But everyone just saw a bunch of movements and pretty motions that made it the last accepted form of art acceptable. It burned her up, but at the same time, if people weren't so ignorant, she'd have been killed long ago. There was no way she was ever going to stop dancing. Her very life was a dance, but unfortunately she'd come to the point where she realized that she wasn't inspiring others the way dance should inspire. If her life was a dance, then she wasn't getting the reaction she wanted. So maybe it was time for a change.

Sipping coffee in the break room she began to wonder if it was her personality that people didn't like. She wasn't quite sure but she figured maybe if she could relate to her students better on a personal level they may be more open minded. Maybe then she would inspire people with her life's dance. But there was one other problem. She was twenty-eight and she was without a leading man. Such deprivation was beginning to wear on her. She was to the point where she was seriously considering seducing her students. She knew of a few at least who had only joined her class when they saw the instructor's face.

But she wanted more than a release. She was a woman, after all, and she was nearing thirty. She wanted love and it seemed to elude her like the applause she so desperately needed as motivation to keep dancing. After all, no artist really created masterpieces for themselves.
